For just a few dollars, the whole family can come and enjoy the day together at the Antelope Valley Swap Meet at Four Points. They have something for every family member — dads can sit and watch football on one of their TV’s and enjoy a cold beer, kids can play on the playground, and moms can shop to their heart’s content. For family activities, they can listen to live music or have a meal together.
The Antelope Valley Swap Meet has been family-owned and operated since opening its doors in 1978. Located about an hour north of Los Angeles in sunny Palmdale, California, they are home to nearly 500 vendors and visited by thousands of families each Sunday. Guests can enjoy delicious, made-from-scratch authentic food and cold beverages from one of the several concession and beer stands, or take a break from shopping at one of the two shaded entertainment pavilions and listen to live music.
Known for their rustic, country atmosphere, shoppers can find everything from antiques and collectibles to new merchandise. The swap meet also hosts a Farmers Market area located near the front entrance, featuring a large selection of locally grown fruits and vegetables. Admission prices are super cheap — Saturdays are completely free, and on Sundays, adults are $2, students are $1, and children 10 and under are free. Parking is also always free at Antelope Valley.
Becoming a vendor at this swap meet is super easy. Weekend spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Advanced reservations are not required, just come out the day you are planning to sell and pick your own space. Daily vendor rates are $10 for Saturdays and $30 for Sundays.
