Come explore at Smiley’s to find that long lost treasure or your everyday needs, including fresh produce, apparel, hair salons, electronics, appliances, books, plants, antiques and collectibles, new and used items, and more. This open-air and indoor flea market sees between 12,000 and 17,000 shoppers per weekend and offers parking right on the property.
Smiley’s Markets & Malls was formed in 1984 by Ben Campen, Sr. He had experience in the flea market business since 1975 and in the early 80’s, he decided to build flea markets throughout the Southeast. Smiley’s opened its doors to a record crowd in the fall of 1984, starting on 20 acres and with just over 50,000 square feet of covered selling area. The market has now grown to well over 100,000 square feet, 700 outside selling spaces, and an antique mall that is longer than a football field.
If you are interested in selling your treasures at Smiley’s Flea Market, it is super easy to become a vendor. There are two places you can sell: outside in the yard sale area, or the indoor shopping area. No reservations are required for outdoor spaces, and they start at $15 per day. Inside spaces must be reserved in advance and rates vary depending on size and location. Give the market a call at 828-684-3532 to reserve an indoor spot.
