Stained Market Place, a new market in Tampa, FL, is opening its outdoor space this weekend. The interior space, comprising more than 2,000 square feet, is being prepared, and will be ready in time for the market’s grand opening, scheduled for Labor Day weekend. It will be open Fridays and Saturdays, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Sundays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., beginning July 19th.
“We are excited about the location,” says manager, Maria Moreno. “The market is right off the I-4 exit to historic Ybor City. It is the only exit and entrance to Ybor. There is a lot of traffic, especially on Fridays, and we expect a lot of people to stop at our market.”
Stained Market Place is seeking vendors of a variety of goods, including furniture, vintage clothing, antiques, artwork, food and produce, and housewares. Outdoor spaces are about 10-feet by 10-feet and rent for $20 for Friday, and $30 for Saturday or Sunday. Sellers who book all three days will receive a discount. Vendors are advised to bring tents. When fully opened, the market will accommodate around 40 outdoor plus 25 to 30 indoor vendors.
