Known for their amazing deals and wide range of goods and services, Paramount Swap Meet has been satisfying consumers since 1955. Open every day of the week, year-round, they even have live music every Sunday so shoppers can jam out as they browse through aisles of treasures.
Paramount Swap Meet started off as a twin screen drive-in movie theater that operated at night. The owner, Joseph Bianchi, saw untapped potential for the land that stayed vacant during the day, and began reaching out to local businesses to offer them the opportunity to display and sell some of their merchandise on the grounds of the drive in. Thus, the swap meet was born. The popularity of the Paramount Swap Meet continued to grow throughout the 1950’s, and the merchandise began to change from all used items to new and used products.
Now, not only is the market known for their amazing vendors, but also for their food. They are constantly adding new delicacies so customers can try something new, and guests can find a list of food vendors on Paramount’s website. They are open Monday through Friday from 6am – 2pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 6am – 3pm. If you are interested in becoming a vendor at this swap meet, there is a vendor informational packet listed on their website under the ‘Vendor Info’ tab.
