The 66th Street Flea Market, in Pinellas Park, FL, holds an auction every Saturday night, starting at 5 p.m. “The day hasn’t been changed on our website, but it is held every Saturday night,” notes PJ, market assistant. The auction features one of its vendors, Jimmy, owner of the 66th Street Auction. The market will be hosting other events throughout the year as well, PJ remarks, and has free parking and free admission.
Open year round, the indoor market has an outdoor feel because it has open doors on all sides. The market’s 40 spaces are rented by the weekend, Friday through Sunday. Rental cost is $15 for a 5 foot by 10 foot space, $30 for a 10 foot by 10 foot space, and $45 for a 15 foot by 20 foot space. The market is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“Vendors sell all types of merchandise from the very old to the very new,” PJ shares. “Usually when our vendors come in they stay. They love us. Of course with flea markets, you always have a turnover but once they get here they try their best to stay with us as long as possible.”
