Named as one of the 10 Best Flea Markets in the World by Jet Setter Magazine, the Kane County Flea Market has everything from that perfect piece of jewelry to please mom on her birthday to fancy “junque” to decorate homes with. This adorable market has been open for over 40 years and with their hundreds of indoor, outdoor, and under shed vendors, you’re bound to find something you like!
Wind, rain, or shine, the Kane County Flea Market is the first Sunday and preceding Saturday of every month March through December. Celebrities, movie studios, and collectors alike often come to enjoy one of the longest running, best antique and collectibles flea markets in the world. Parking is free and admission is $5 for adults while children 12 and under are free.
What makes this market so unique is the story for how Kane County came to be. Queen Flea: The Helen Robinson Story is sold for $21.95 online or in their main office. This is the story of Helen Robinson’s dream becoming a reality, and her famous Bean Soup recipe is also included!
There is plenty of food sold all day around the market, including Otto’s Corn and Lemonade, Ingrish’s Pastries and Cakes, and Mr. Morkert with coffee drinks. Spaces fill up fast, so if you’re interested in selling food or interesting antiques, give their office a call at 630-377-2252. The sizes and costs for booths vary depending on location, but the price includes the whole weekend. Dealers are what make a good show great! For more information, visit www.kanecountyfleamarket.com.
