From outdoor furniture and lively plants to fishing supplies and yummy treats, Collinsville Trade Day is the perfect summer outing for the whole family. Taking place every Saturday from 4:30am-2pm in Collinsville, Alabama, guests can sort through all sorts of bargains from over 1,000 vendors and no one will leave empty-handed.
On the creek banks of downtown Collinsville in 1902, a tradition began in this little town of only 1800 residents. At this time, the tradition was called Horse Swappers Day, and it was held every Saturday. As the swap meet grew, it became too large for the downtown area and was relocated to its present day location in June 1955. The market changed its name to Collinsville Trade Day and now covers 65 acres with over 30,000 shoppers attending every Saturday.
Renting a booth at this market is incredibly cheap, leaving plenty of room to make a profit. Covered outdoor spaces are $10, and open spaces are $7 each day. Collinsville Trade Day takes place rain or shine, so come prepared. Call 888-524-2536 for more information on becoming a vendor.
