Willow Glen Flea Market, Green Dragon Flea Market, Root’s Old Mill Flea Market and Renningers Flea Markets are pleased to announce the creation of Berks-Lancaster Flea Markets. This new coalition is designed to draw visitors from outside the area as well as educate people about the fun and value of going to flea markets in the Berks and Lancaster Counties. “The value of working together allows all of us to benefit and grow since we all operate on our own separate days of the week,” states organizer Patrick Konopelski, owner of Konopelski Katering and Willow Glen Flea Market.
The individual markets still operate as they did before, with Root’s County Market open on Tuesdays, Green Dragon Farmers open on Fridays, Renningers open on Saturdays, and Willow Green Flea Market open on Sundays. However, now their marketing forces are combined to achieve a greater reach and coordinate special events. Upcoming events include
antique shows, car shows, various food and drink festivals, and arts and crafts shows.
The group has created a brochure and website to market the new program.
