A clever kitchen product with a 17-year record of solid sales is now available for flea market and swap vendors. The Brown Sugar Disc Company, founded by Darci Stronach, offers an innovative solution to a very common problem. “Rock hard brown sugar is an issue,” Stronach says. “Everyone has that problem. This is a little clay disk that you soak in water, pat it dry, and put it into your brown sugar. It can soften a rock-hard bag of brown sugar overnight or keep brown sugar soft.”
Stronach offers several reasons for vendors to consider selling her Brown Sugar Disc. First, the cost. “It’s inexpensive enough that people are willing to take a chance on it,” she says. The product is available at $1.50 wholesale, and has a suggested retail price of $2.99. Second, the product has great consumer appeal. “It is really easy to sell,” she adds.
The company offers a combo starter pack with a variety of items. For more information, call (800) 586-3472 or send e-mail to mail@brownsugardiscs.com.
