A new outdoor flea market opened this past weekend, on Sat., May 14, in Willows, Calif. The Butte Street Bargains flea market launched at 346 South Butte Street, the site of a former auto repair shop, with about 14 vendors selling household goods, tools, jewelry, and thrift store items. The weekly market, held on Saturdays, will be expanding with monthly auctions in the future, according to a news report in the Willows Journal.
The swap meet is owned and managed by Ron and Earline Hindbaugh. It is a member of the Willows Chamber of Commerce. Butte Street Bargains also supports the Community Wish Foundation. According to an ad on Craigslist, a 10′ by 20′ vendor space can be rented an introductory price of $10 per space.
