The “L.A. Flea Market,” formerly held Sundays in the Dodger Stadium parking lot, will soon be called “The Flea Market at Dodger Stadium,” taking place on Saturdays. According to a report in the L.A. Eastsider, market organizer and promoter Philip Dane is breaking with his partners and going it on his own under the stewardship of his PD Markets firm. As he told The Eastsider, “The L.A. Flea Market was produced by DKS Promotions, LLC. That company no longer has a deal with the Dodgers as my partners did not want to continue. I have negotiated a new deal completely independent of DKS. The New Saturday Market is The Flea Market at Dodger Stadium produced by PD Markets.” The market has a new Web site and launches Nov. 20. It will still be held once each month.
FleaMarketZone reported on this market when it launched this summer.
