Christmas Village is one of the oldest charitable events in Nashville, TN, supported and operated entirely by volunteers from the Nashville Pi Beta Phi Alumnae Club. During the 55-year history, the event has generated over ten million dollars benefiting thousands of people, as the proceeds support a range of causes including special hearing and speech programs, traumatic brain injury patients, and scholarships for local aspiring artists. The proceeds come from ticket sales, exhibitor application and booth sales, and Christmas Village shopping bag and t-shirt sales.
This year the event will be held November 11 – 13th at The Fairgrounds Nashville. More than 260 merchants from twenty-five states exhibit at the annual Christmas Village, many of which have been part of the event for decades. Exhibitors offer a variety of merchandise including artwork, clothing, gifts, accessories, food, yard and garden, and holiday. The event draws nearly 30,000 shoppers from Tennessee and surrounding states. Tickets are $10 at the door.
The Thursday before Christmas Village opens, Pi Beta Phi alumni hold their annual Sneak-A-Peek event from 4-9:30pm. A limited number of tickets are available for $45. Participants can browse the Village with a glass of wine before it opens to the public. Tickets also include an additional entry to the Village over the weekend.
