The patent-pending Canopy Cooler, available from GoGalley, is a simple way to anchor a canopy on any ground surface, including a parking lot, stadium, campground, beach or ballpark. In addition to being a weight, the Canopy Cooler keeps beverages hot or cold and dry. “The biggest problem with canopies is they blow over, so you have to weigh them down,” explains David LeAnna, president and CEO of the company. “And, since everyone uses a cooler when pitching a canopy, I thought, why not use a cooler as a weight?”
Easy set up, easy access to beverages
Set up could not be more simple, LeAnna stresses. Users slide the interlocking, patent-pending cooler tables onto the canopy pole and sit the cooler on the tables. The cooler can be placed at any height so users do not have to bend down to open the cooler. It has flaps on the top for single servings, so all the cold air does not escape when someone reaches in for a drink. Not only is the product popular at outdoor events, such as tailgating and camping, it can be used to keep groceries cold when coming home from the store, enabling consumers to run other errands instead of rushing home to the refrigerator.
First launched in red, the Canopy Cooler will be available in eight colors by the Fourth of July. These include yellow, orange, green, blue, gold, black and purple, enabling fans to show their team colors at almost any sporting event. Canopy Cooler has carry handles and a storage compartment for the tables, and it collapses flat for easy storage.
The wholesale price to flea market vendors is $60 and retail is $99.95 per unit. The company ships within 48 hours and is offering free freight. The minimum order is six coolers, and flea marketers can mix colors. Vendors can order online at GoGalley’s ecommerce site, which accepts all major credit cards. The website shows a price of $99.95 per unit, however, if vendors add a minimum of six coolers to their carts, the price will automatically be discounted to $60 per item.
Floating cooler attracts shoppers
The Canopy Cooler is a popular seller at flea markets, LeAnna adds. “Many vendors display the Canopy Cooler on a canopy leg and it is perfectly displayed,” LeAnna points out. “It attracts attention because shoppers cannot see the tables once the cooler is in place and it looks like the cooler is sitting in mid-air. Once consumers see the dual functionality of the product, they are sold.”
LeAnna launched GoGalley two years ago with the introduction of the innovative instant outdoor mobile kitchen. “We will continue to expand our line of products that will serve consumers’ needs at home or at outdoor functions,” he affirms. The company soon will be introducing the Stable Shade, the first portable umbrella that attaches to anything and provides nine feet of shade.
