Everyone loves a great flea market, and people on holiday and residents in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates are no different. With six to ten flea markets in the area each month, there is something for everyone. Dubai flea markets have their own unique flavor and flair. Here is a look at how some of the local vendors operate to attract shoppers.
Dubai ARTE Souk Arts and Craft Fair

The Arte Souk is set up like an arts and craft fair rather than a flea market, but it is a bargain shopper’s delight as well. There are many vendors that sell at this event, so it is easy for shoppers to find a lot of goods for low prices. If things are a too high in price, most vendors are willing to bargain. From homemade food items to used books and original artwork crafted by the locals, it is a great place to find all sorts of unique merchandise. This event is held at different locations throughout Dubai on most Fridays, so shoppers must check the weekly schedule to determine where the event will be held. There is no better place to find items that demonstrate the culture in Dubai.
The Safa Park Flea Market

The Safa Park flea marketing event is held at Safa Park in Al Wasl. It is open on the first Saturday of every month from October to May. This is one of the best flea markets in Dubai and hosts a large number of vendors. From artwork and furniture to high quality electronics, clothes, books, cookware, and other goods, it offers shoppers nearly everything imaginable.
Uptown Mirdif Flea Market

The Uptown Mirdif market is held at the Promenade Courtyard, which is located in the Uptown Mirdif Mall. It is open the second Friday of the month from December to May. The market offers a fun filled day browsing the flea market and visiting other mall attractions, such as eateries and shops. This flea market has all types of used and new items. From electronics and household items to hobbyist supplies, toys, books, knickknacks, games, artwork, food items, and other great finds. Most vendors there are willing to negotiate on price.
Uptown Mirdif Bazaar

The Uptown Mirdif Bazaar is held at the La Piazza, which is in the Uptown Mirdif Mall. It is open the first Friday of the month from December to May. This Bazaar is great for families because it has things for people of all ages. From clothing and toys to furniture, accessories, books, vintage items and more, the venue is packed full of vendor tables that sell high quality second-hand merchandise for a fraction of what it would be in a retail store. After shopping, patrons have a wide choice of dinner options in the mall, such as Pasta Kana, Shiraz Kabob Khas, the Bombay Chow Patty and Subway.
Dubai is a cosmopolitan metropolis, and a business and cultural hub of the Middle East and Persian Gulf region. As one of the most expensive cities in the world, flea market vendors find shoppers there eager to buy new and used goods being sold at attractive prices.
