The pace of updates has lagged a bit here at FleaMarketZone.com as we roll out an improved back-end system for the site. With the now-complete upgrade , flea market and swap meet professionals who visit the site will note several improvements. Chief among those are faster page load times and an improved navigation system for our featured content gallery slider at the top of our home page, with improved thumbnail navigation.
According to chief information officer Lisa Rioni, “With FleaMarketZone’s Web traffic growing 30 percent each month, it is important to make sure our content management software is serving pages to new visitors as smoothly and quickly as possible.”
FleaMarketZone.com had been using WordPress Multi-User for back-end support, but has now upgraded to the WordPress 3 system. The new software allows for the addition of other new features, which may be implemented in the future.
