Farmers markets are one of the best ways to buy fresh produce. Not only are you helping small businesses, but it’s also easier to stay socially distant in an open-air market. Despite all the COVID-19 madness, Town Square Farmers Market is still open in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
This year, Town Square Farmers Market will be located at Lyons Auto on 4th Street in the historic downtown area of Grand Forks. Throughout the market season, guests can meet up with friends and family, enjoying the summer and the downtown area while supporting all the local farmers. There are also local musicians, crafters, and opportunities to learn about the area’s local nonprofits.
Town Square Farmers Market is held every Saturday rain or shine from 9am – 1pm. The market season starts on June 20th and ends on September 26th. If you’re interested in becoming a vendor to either sell produce, artisan goods, or other items, email tsfarmersmarket@yahoo.com for vendor information.
This farmers market has significant goals to address issues of local food policies, access to local foods and overall wellness. To see more about what they do, visit their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/townsquarefarmersmarket.
