For people who have a love for vinyl and want to add more to their collection, Wolff’s Flea Market’s Vinyl Show on October 4 is the perfect place to be. Being the fourth show held, Sharon Wolff, Creative Media and Merchandise Consultant for Wolff’s, is hoping the event will continue bringing in vendors and buyers with an affinity for collecting records. “We want to get the name out there that we are a go-to place for current collectable trends. Vinyl is big in the Chicago area already so we want to grow from that.”
With 30 specific vinyl vendors participating in the event already, this is a great opportunity for the market to accentuate these specific sellers. In addition to vinyl, the event will also house turntables, musical equipment, music memorabilia and new and rare items that buyers will not be able to find anywhere else.
Vendors will get a 25 by 18 foot space to set up their booths and the event will take place from 6am to 3pm. “We want to provide a modern venue for vinyl and record collectors,” said Wolff. “Now we are getting even more people of all ages. Not just life long appreciators of vinyl, but also a lot of younger crowds are getting into it too.”
