“The original idea came from my brother, Suhyun Pak, myself, and a close friend of ours, Adam Zeller, director of Digital Media at Starz Media. The three of us have been flea market junkies for years. …
“Getting vendors, surprisingly, was very simple. My experience in television has been that 10 percent of the effort is to produce the show, and 90 is getting people to watch it. So I thought this would be that kind of a scenario. But you know what? It was one of those things where everybody thinks it’s a good idea. The community was very receptive to it.”
