Dedicated to business growth and community prosperity, Dan Robin, manager and owner of International Trading Center Flea Market (ITC Market) continues to open his doors to the public in new ways. While known for the indoor/outdoor market open Thursday through Sunday, 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., with extended hours on Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m, ITC Market has expanded into other niche markets within the community. “We have a full menu restaurant and an Internet café,” says Robin. “We offer a large, clean and safe facility for buyers and sellers to conduct business, and now for the general public to eat or access some computer time.”
Internet Café Complements Flea Market
Already receiving well over 100 applicants for user IDs and pin numbers for computer access since its launch on March 7, ITC Market’s Internet café has proven to be a much needed service in the Flint, MI area. According to Robin the café is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 10 or 11 p.m., and users can buy time on the computer for as low as $1. “People can conduct research, play games, write papers and more,” he says. “All our computers have Microsoft Office installed.” Users also get an added bonus of free coffee, soda, chips and other snacks.
For Robin the Internet café has been a welcomed addition to ITC Market, receiving traffic from the flea market and driving traffic to the flea market. “After some time in the café, users can walk over to the flea market and browse the market’s some 60 vendors selling appliances, consumer electronics, household items, antiques, clothes and more. For those people looking to become a seller, a 10’ by 10’ booth is only $10 per day. “If you have the drive and determination to develop and market your business, we offer the best place to call home,” says Robin.
