After a launch in early June, the new Parkdale Vendors Market in Toronto has been growing and gaining some rave reviews. Local jewelry maker Sarah Hamel started the market to fill a needed niche.
The market has been running every Saturday since June 4, and “with each passing weekend, it’s proven even more buzz-worthy, gaining a steady following,” according to Toronto Life. Moreover, it is “growing in scope and attendees every weekend, showcasing independent designer jewellery, racks of vintage clothing, even homemade jams and jellies,” says the National Post. The Parkdale Vendors Market is located at 1273 Queen St. W., next to Hamel’s Made You Look Accessories store. It is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., on Saturdays through September.
