Kathy Griffin, Emmy-winning star of reality show “My Life on the D-List,” operated a booth at a Los Angeles flea market this past weekend for her cable TV show, according to Hollywood gossip columnist Janet Charlton. Charlton reported the news today, but aspiring actor and author Matthew Kalik posted a photo of himself and Griffin at the market on Twitter April 11 (photo at left, click to see a larger version with the market in the background).
Griffin, whose official Web site mentions that she’s a flea market shopper, used the booth at the Melrose Trading Post market to sell furniture (including a stovetop, a 10-foot-tall mirror, and a sectional sofa), clothes, and knick-knacks. The cameras were rolling, so expect to see a segment on her experience at the market on an upcoming episode of her show.
