The Lancaster Marketplace in Lancaster, MA will be closing after ten years operating at its present location, and is looking for a new spot to reopen in the spring. Known as New England’s largest indoor-outdoor flea market, the market’s final day is Sunday, September 1st, when it will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The relocation is the result of a quick sale of the present property, which will be converted to an auto parts salvage operation, the Coulter Press reports.
According to Lancaster Marketplace’s website, the hope is to open the new flea market directly across from Kimball Farms Ice Cream next to its former location. “If all goes as planned we should have our grand opening in mid April 2014.” Watch their website for more details.
