The Lodi Flea Market has been seeing so much traffic that its hours have been expanded from Fridays only to both Fridays and Saturdays. Parking and admission are free, and the market has quickly become a magnet for families looking to enjoy a weekend out and about in Lodi since opening in May. “I remember coming out to flea markets as a kid with my grandpa,” market operator Chris Hernandez told Recordnet.com. “This is kind of like going back to my roots.”
The Lodi Grape Festival will take place on the grounds on the weekend of September 13 through 16 and the flea market will resume its normal schedule the following week, running from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. The market is located at the fairgrounds, at 413 Lockeford Street in Lodi, CA. Spaces measuring 15 feet by 20 feet are available for $20 and must be reserved in person at the market entrance between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Thursdays. More information is available by calling 209-931-2815, finding the market on Facebook or by visiting www.lodifleamarket.com.
