Starting with the December 2013 issue kicking off the New Year, The Merchandiser Group Magazines, published by Sumner Communications, will now be publishing articles in both English and Spanish. In addition, starting this month, the front cover has been redesigned to better serve this new bilingual format.
“The flea market business has long been a tremendous point of entry for entrepreneurs looking to start a retail or merchandise distribution business. Our research shows a growing number of merchants in this market are from the vibrant Hispanic community. To improve our service to these wholesale buyers, we are now offering our major editorial pieces in both English and Spanish,” states Jeff Dwight, publisher of The Merchandiser Media Group. “We encourage our wholesale advertising clients to make it known in their ads if they have Spanish speaking representatives on staff to serve these active buyers.”
For 25 years, East Coast Merchandiser, Midwest Merchandiser and Western Merchandiser magazines have been the flea market and swap meet industry’s top source for wholesale merchandise suppliers, news and information. Over 150,000 new merchandise vendors, dealers and distributors in North America rely on these monthly magazines and website, FleaMarketZone.com, for their business success. The December articles published in both English and Spanish include the cover feature, 10 Hot Products for 2014, an advisory article on how to increase holiday sales, and the flea market news section.
