The Caddo Valley Flea Market, in Arkadelphia, AR, celebrated its recent opening with a ribbon cutting January 16. The market is open Wednesdays through Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. Co-owner Kris Treadway told a group of vendors during the grand opening that he would like to have a once-a-month auction at the market, and to host a monthly yard sale there at no cost to vendors. Co-owner Julie Dickerson added that they are in the process of structuring the market and open to suggestions, the Siftings Herald reports. About 80 vendors have set up shop with old, new and vintage merchandise. The owners plan to add more booths. The Caddo Valley Flea Market is located at 107 Valley St. in the old Railroad Salvage Building and gets local shoppers as well as those who see the market’s sign while traveling on the nearby interstate.
