Although the Tri-Town Flea Market in Palmer, Mass., closed its doors for the last time in late October last year, a new flea market opened in the same location just six weeks later in early December. The Yankee Flea Market, under the new ownership of local businessman Keith Walker, has a fresh appearance and a new coat of paint.
Walker, who also owns a fire equipment supply company near the market, has also set new hours for the consignment-style flea market following a successful first month in business, according to a posting on Craigslist. The market will be open at 10 a.m. most days, 11 a.m. on Sundays, no longer offering any evening hours.
Vendors at the Yankee Flea Market are selling a wide range of products, including antiques, jewelry, home decor, prints, posters, magazines, photography, books, maps, postcards, comics, trains, and more. Some vendor spaces are still available. For more information, call (413) 283-4910.
