Caesar Creek Flea Market has completed its total renovation and is now reopened in 125,000 square feet of fresh retail space. A celebration is planned for Saturday and Sunday, January 5 and 6. The flea market had been out of commission following a fire last March, limited to reopen one building per month since June. “It has been a long journey since the fire, but a journey that the loyal vendors of Caesar Creek Flea Market have walked with strength, determination and the most amazing positive attitudes,” comments Greg Dove, president of Levin Service Company, which operates Caesar Creek. “Many of these vendors located their businesses inside Caesar Creek Flea Market 20 to 30 years ago. They are the backbone of this market and it’s good to see them back in business in their completely remodeled retail spaces.” Ryan Levin, co-owner of the market, says, “The remodel gave us the opportunity to enlarge the main concessions area. We’ve added a stage where we will have local musicians perform each weekend.”
The Grand Re-Opening Weekend will feature door prizes, giveaways, a radio broadcast and a Crack the Vault game with $10,000 to the winner. Throughout the month of January, visitors will also be able to register to win a four-day, three-night cruise for two.
Those interested in becoming vendors at Caesar Creek may rent an outdoor booth for $19 and up. Indoor spaces start at $48. There are a number of different rental options detailed in the brochures available on the flea market’s website, www.caesarcreek.com. Caesar Creek is open year round on Saturdays and Sundays, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is located at 7763 State Route 73, which is exit 45 off of Interstate 71 in Wilmington and Clinton County, OH. The main market office number is 937-382-1660, or, to contact the Dayton office, vendors may call 937-223-0222.
