FleaMarketZone has had a number of news updates in the past few days.
There’s more info and a quote from Julia Tyndale-Biscoe, who is helping to organize and run a new Canadian flea market in Fergus, Ontario. That’s posted at the bottom of the original FleaMarketZone report.
In Beaumont, Calif., a new Beaumont Outdoor Market is opening at the site of the old Beaumont Swap Meet, which itself has moved 22 miles and morphed into the new SoCal Fair Marketplace. News about that is posted at the bottom of the original FleaMarketZone report.
FleaMarketZone also got a call from Wayne Howard of the SoCal Fair Marketplace in Perris, Calif. “We opened up on May 15 and May 16. May 16 we had over 150 vendors and had 2,300 buyers walk in at the Lake Perris Fairgrounds,” he reports. “It was a pretty good success. We’re open four days a week — Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday — and it will be an ongoing swap meet marketplace, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.”
And word comes from Dan O’Donnell of O’Donnell’s Bellingham Flea Market in Bellingham, Wash., that he is expanding his food offerings and serving until midnite. Check out the video he shot at his grand opening on May 15 — previously reported here.
