February 8 – 9, 2017 marks the conference date for the National Flea Market Association’s event at the Bellagio Resort in Las Vegas, NV. The annual conference of NFMA members is a great way for market owners and managers to connect, network, and discuss the important events and concerns that impact today’s swap meets and flea markets.
The conference includes educational and informative seminars, which include speakers like Mark Connolly of Traders Village and Lisa Povich of Mile High Flea Market. Connolly is responsible for all of the Human Resources functions at the sprawling Traders Village markets and will give a talk on the topic of HR to help owners and managers better understand strategic and tactical personnel management practices. Povich is also an HR pro, and holds additional responsibility at Mile High for Information Technology and Leasing. Povich will lead a discussion focusing on vendor rules and regulations – what every modern market should know.
For market owners interested in learning more about NFMA membership, or the conference, please contact the current NFMA Board of Directors, visit the organization’s web site at www.fleamarkets.org, or call 262-955-6605.
