Overstocks Trading is a liquidation company that sells overstocks, shelf pulls, and customer returns from major department stores. A family-operated business launched in 2010, the company sells all types of soft and hard goods. “We specialize in high end closeouts with exceptional quality at the lowest prices,” states Yogi Patel, director. Overstocks Trading is strong in electronics, selling products such as computers, refurbished TVs with warranty, and home theaters. The firm also deals in appliances, housewares, bed sheets and comforters, toys, indoor and outdoor furniture, apparel, and more. “We have a large variety and our inventory changes all the time,” Patel notes. Pallets start as low as $250, and the company also sells by the truckload.
Mixed GM & electronics pallets
Flea market vendors as well as online sellers regularly buy from the company. Chirag Patel, partner, says mixed pallets are popular with flea market vendors. “They often buy the mixed pallet of general merchandise which is good for flea markets because they get a variety of products,” Patel explains. Mixed general merchandise pallets range in price from around $250 to $400. Overstocks Trading also has a popular mixed electronics accessories pallet, which contains products such as keyboards, game controllers, HDMI cables, and cell phone and iPad cases. These pallets typically have around 500 pieces, and are priced at $2 to $3 apiece. Keyboards, for example, might wholesale for $2, while modems and controllers are priced at $3 apiece. Retail value is from $5 all the way up to $80 an item, Patel shares. “We also sell a lot of tools and housewares to our flea market customers,” he continues. In addition, Overstocks Trading recently introduced its own brand of blenders and irons, called OST. “They are much less expensive than major brands,” Patel reports.
Manifests and pallet photos
Overstocks Trading strives to offer the best products as well as great customer service. Many pallets are manifested so buyers know exactly what merchandise they are receiving. For pallets that are not manifested, such as mixed general merchandise, the firm will send vendors pallet photos. “We will take a few pictures from the top to give buyers an idea of what is in the pallet,” Patel points out. The company will deliver merchandise, or vendors can pick up products at its Orlando, FL warehouse, which is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Salespeople bilingual in Spanish and English are available to assist. Overstocks Trading offers next day shipping and online order tracking.
