The Flea & Farmers Market, in Centre Hall, PA, begins on Saturday, September 14, and will be open every Saturday through November 2013. The market, held on the grounds of the Grange Fair & Campground, will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The flea market will host a diverse array of shops selling new and used merchandise, such as tools, furniture, toys, clothes and antiques. The farmers market will feature fresh produce, products and baked goods locally made. An area is set aside for organic produce and other food stuffs.
Providing shopper traffic, the Grange Fair attracts more than 250,000 visitors annually, and events other than the fair attract more than 25,000 visitors. With the addition of the equine facility, even more visitors are expected. Typical indoor vendor spaces are 10-feet by 10-feet, and rent for $35 per day. An outdoor space is 10-feet by 30-feet, and costs $25 a day. Weekly, monthly and season space rental is discounted. Call or email for rates.
The market offers 9,000 square feet of indoor shopping and numerous open-air sites. Shopper admission and parking are free. A grand opening is scheduled for April 15, 2014.
