United Flea Markets, owner of the successful Mile High Flea Market in Denver, CO and the Flamingo Island Flea Market in Bonita Springs, FL has recently acquired T & W Flea Market in Pensacola, FL, the oldest and largest flea market in the city. United Flea Markets plans to continue the successful operations of the T & W Flea Market while working to improve and enhance the guest experience.
“As owners and operators we have a deep understanding of the flea market business and the ever-changing needs and desires of both buyers and sellers,” said Rob Sieban, United Flea Market’s president and CEO, and chairman of the National Flea Market Association. “We continue to seek out well-run flea markets, like the T & W, in which to invest to help bolster our national footprint of markets, while still preserving the culture, integrity and community aspect of each.”
According to the National Flea Market Association there are more than 1,100 flea markets that are visited by more than 150 million customers each year, totaling more than $30 billion in annual sales.
The T & W Flea Market Mall will continue to operate as it has previously. United Flea Markets has hired a new general manager, Steven Price, whose expertise in facilities management, food and beverage and technology will support vendors and buyers alike.
