Following the tradition of ‘everything is bigger in Texas,’ it’s Fair season! Opening up on March 11 and running straight through the 25th, Austin’s Fairgrounds will once more be host to the area’s biggest and boldest rodeo and fair. Offering shopping of all kinds, live music, special attractions including pig races, a stock show, the rodeo main events and food galore, this fair is one to remember!
The carnival runs from March 11-19, from 11am to 12 midnight each day, with the very last day, March 25, open for these action-packed hours as well. Featuring more than 60 rides and games that will catch the eye and heart of every member of the family, the carnival offers wristbands for daily unlimited rides, as well as seasonal wrist bands that can be used for the run of the carnival and fair. Pre-season purchase of the wristbands is also available on the web site. Admission is required to enter the fair, and these tickets can also be purchased on the rodeo’s main web site.
For vendors interested in roping in some new business during this highly trafficked event, booths are available in the Exhibit Hall, Rodeo Arena Mezzanine and in multiple areas spread across the fairgrounds. Shopping opens at 10 am daily during the fair and vendors can be assured of a happy and fun-loving crowd to shop at your booth.
Vendors seeking more information on booth rentals and opportunities at the fair can reach the fair management at their Austin headquarters at 9100 Decker Lake Road, located in the Charles W. Graham Western Heritage Center. The office is open Monday- Friday from 8:30am – 5:00pm. For more information, email Info@rodeoaustin.com or visit the web site at www.rodeoaustin.com
