When CNN® takes note of your market, we here at the Merchandiser think that it’s safe bet to say that you’re doing ok. In 2012 when the news organization pulled together their round-up of the best flea markets in the USA, the Springfield Antique Show & Flea ranked at #4.
With crowds topping over 20,000 shoppers attending their extravaganza events, and dealers and vendors from across the entire globe, this market event is a true national treasure. Located at the Clark County Fairgrounds on a 130 acre parcel of land, the market is designed in the shape of a wagon wheel, so shoppers and vendors alike can easily find their way through the amazing bargains and aisles of collectibles new and old.
Market dates are set in advance with the next regular monthly events happening on March 18-19, April 8-9, and the next extravaganza event taking place on May 19,20, and 21. Show hours for the monthly events are 8am-5pm on Saturday and 9am – 4pm on Sundays, with a $3 admission fee for adults over 16. For the extravaganza, early birds are welcome 7am – noon on Friday with a $15 admission fee, and Saturday and Sunday runs at a $10 admission fee.
New vendors are welcome, and can find more information on the market’s web site where you can sign up for their newsletter and get more information on the Antique Show and Flea. To contact the market directly, email Jon Jenkins at JonJIndpls@aol.com or call 937-325-0053.
