With winter soon approaching, it’s a good time to start thinking about keeping warm. PeachFur Fleece, founded in 1999, sells wholesale blankets with either a plain design or featuring company and sports team logos in a variety of different sizes and prints. In addition, the company also offers fleece jackets, throw blankets, baby blankets, picnic blankets, and fleece fabric wholesale.
Owner Jason Moore says that the company’s inexpensive products are a good fit for flea market vendors. “We have a number of different styles of blankets that people can choose from,” Moore says. “In particular, our premium promotional blanket is really good for those coming to the flea markets that want to embroider a logo or design.” The premium promotional blanket is sold in a pack of 36 that wholesales for $207, and usually can offer a profit margin of up to 100%, as they often sell retail for $12 or $13 each.
PeachFur Fleece keeps hundreds of different prints in stock, and the minimum order for in-stock blankets is 24 units, while custom orders usually require 5000 units. One of their newest products is an accessory called the Travel Billow, a 50” by 66” fleece blanket located inside of a travel pillow that can be inflated, giving the user the option of using both a pillow and a blanket when they are on the road in one convenient, easy to store package. The Travel Billow can be ordered wholesale with orders of 48 units or more.
PeachFur Gives Back
The company is very involved with charity, and customers have the option of buying blankets for people in need across the world through the initiative PeachFur Gives Back. “With PeachFur Gives Back, we try to reach out to our customers and have them purchase a discounted blanket through us, and we then fill a container and send it to a place of need,” Moore says. “Usually the stuff we do is based in the U.S., with non-profits like cancer awareness, but we also have sent blankets to Haiti for the earthquake, as well as Indonesia and Japan. That’s one of our goals. We’re a for-profit company, but I like to help out when I can. Blankets are something that in a time of need provides a form of security and warmth.”
