Great L&H Trading, a discount sunglasses supplier selling wholesale to flea market vendors and others, got its start in China and then expanded to the United States — and the contacts the company brings to the table mean that customers can expect extremely competitive pricing and a diverse array of styles.
“At the beginning of the year we’ll have more than 100 new styles coming in,” says Great L&H’s Linda Li. “We have ten to twenty new styles coming in each month. We have more styles coming for kids, women, and men, in both fashion sunglasses and fashion reading glasses.”
She says that certain styles are better sellers at flea markets and swap meets: “Vendors like to buy the sport lines, in metal and plastic. Those are the ones that sell best for us. We also have a luxury style called ‘Christelle Collection,’ which sells well.” And looking ahead, she has a prediction for what will sell this holiday season. “I might suggest the colorful aviator sunglasses, which will be good sellers for Christmas and the upcoming year.”
Li says that shoppers are looking for two prime characteristics. “For flea market customers, the first one is the quality, and the second is the price,” she says.
