Lytle reports that since starting Funco Tops out of his basement, the company has been extremely successful and has grown to fill a 9,500 square foot warehouse. “Tenna Tops are cute, fun and inexpensive,” he says. Lytle takes pride in the feedback he has received from retailers who sell his product. Pierre Dvemois, a flea market vendor with whom Lytle has done excellent business, told him, “I sell the Tenna Tops at various flea markets, or should I say they sell themselves. The wholesale cost of each Tenna Top is $1.50, with the retail price set at $3. There is a minimum order of $100, but if a retailer buys 250 Tops the individual price drops to $1.40. There are additional bulk discounts, with 500 Tops priced at $1.30 each and 1000 at $1.20 each.
