The Big Butler Fair, now celebrating its 162nd anniversary, is the largest agricultural fair in Western PA. The event draws over 100,000 people from across Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York and West Virginia to enjoy 9 days of food, fireworks, carnival rides, games, demolition derbies, concerts, truck pulls, and the Y108 Freedom Festival. The fair began in 1855 and has grown larger every year since.
The Big Butler Fair provides a terrific opportunity for friends and family to spend time together. The event is family-friendly, offering state-of-the-art carnival rides and games, daily concerts, clowns, camel rides, and a popular petting zoo — not to mention the large assortment of fair food and an impressive 4th of July fireworks show.
Tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the door. General fair admission tickets are $8 online. Carnival ride bands and tickets are purchased separately. Regular parking is free.
The fair is continuously looking for new vendors including unique food dishes and products. Contact Larry Hays 724-355-2307 concessions and vendor manager, for information about vendor applications, rules, and fees.
