Are you in the mood for spending a weekend basking in the sun and rubbing elbows with hundreds of San Francisco and Oakland, CA neighbors? Then the Treasure Island Flea Market is for you! Aptly named, the market is held on Treasure Island, just off the coast of the legendary Fisherman’s Wharf, accessible via Highway 80 for vendors, and boasting public transportation for shoppers. The Treasure Island Flea is held on the last weekend of every month, and sports an impressive array of vendors, including food trucks, handmade and one-of-a-kind items, apparel, home goods, and collectibles of all kinds. An open-air market, the flea is a huge attraction for locals and tourists alike, so vendors can be assured of a busy day of selling with lots of interested shoppers. Running from 9am – 4pm on the last Saturday and Sunday of each month, the market boats a mix of style and colors found nowhere else.
The market is dog and kid friendly, and asks for a $3 admission fee for shoppers. For vendors seeking additional information, the market hosts an active Facebook page and Twitter account @TreasureIslandFlea and also has their own website with additional information for vendors and shoppers, too. Come join the fun!
