Known as the only flea market of its kind, and named one of LA’s top 5 sources for vintage, Topanga Vintage Market is celebrating three years in the flea market industry. The venue, which was founded by two local moms, is seen as a social gathering for sellers and shoppers to come together for a special love of vintage and antique treasures. “When we launched in 2012, we knew we were entering a very competitive industry, with other markets having been around for decades,” said Lori Rotblatt, co-founder of Topanga Vintage Market. “However, after our very first show, we knew it was going to be an event unlike anything else. We have put a modern spin on an older flea market concept in a highly populated neighborhood. We blend humor and fun with our vendor family and loyal shopper base – a successful business model that will allow us to sustain longevity in the marketplace.” The market features over 180 booths, with merchandise ranging from vintage and collectables to antiques and up-cycled art. Equipped with food trucks and live entertainment at every show, shoppers of all ages can enjoy a unique block party atmosphere the fourth Sunday of every month.
