Inspired by all things indie craft and vintage, Vintage & Made Fair is a semi-annual indoor and outdoor market where shoppers and vendors can share a love for antiques and handcrafted goods. Their fall fair is a two-day event held in the Dallas County Fairgrounds in IA. Goodies such as vintage home décor, jewelry, outdoor accents, seasonal flora, local eats and everything needed to create a handmade lifestyle are available at this market.
Vintage & Made Fair was founded by Tricia Hall who felt there was a need in Des Moines to bring both vintage and handmade worlds together like many other cities do across the country. Her goal is to empower the creative community by cultivating a knowledge and respect of vintage found items and handcrafted goods while providing a fun shopping environment with fantastic small businesses.
The spring fair was held May 19th and 20th and seemed to be a huge success for the market. Vendors from all over come to sell knick-knacks and show off their crafting skills. Those who are handy with a tool box and a paint brush are welcome to sell their products at the fair, and the application can be found on their website www.vintageandmadefair.com. Come enjoy the vintage crafts, live music, and amazing cuisine at the Vintage & Made Fair.
