Wholesale Fashion Inc. carries a large inventory of jewelry and other fashion accessories. “Our extensive selection of good quality merchandise, and low minimum orders, are two reasons buyers choose us,” says Will Kim, director of Internet Sales and Marketing. “Vendors may want to stock different types of fashion accessories, and we are a one stop shop.”
Necklaces, bracelets, earrings & rings
The firm’s jewelry is nickel free, and earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings are four popular categories. “Our jewelry is very attractive and trendy, but very affordable, and sells well at flea markets,” Kim points out. Hundreds of styles are available, including those with crosses, animals, and ceramic and glass beads, in both chunky and fine looks. Profit margins are several hundred percent. Vendors can buy a necklace from Wholesale Fashion for around $.65, for example, and sell it for $2 to $3.
Messenger bags, tiaras & toppers
The firm also has a large selection of handbags, from clutches to shoulder bags, in multiple designs, colors and price points. “Our messenger bags are top sellers,” Kim continues. Wholesale Fashion has messengers in a variety of prints, including zebra, small bows and flowers, as well as sizes. The zebra print bag, for instance, is priced as low as $.61 a unit. Under beauty, the makeup bags and the compact mirrors, in heart and round shapes, and in heart and floral designs, are very popular, he notes. In warmer weather, the hair accessories, especially tiaras, sell well. The company also has an array of fashion hats, from floppy to fedora, in a huge assortment of hip colors and patterns, such as camo, checkered and pastels. Many wholesale for around $2 apiece. The belly dance tops and skirts, in vivid colors, and with silver and gold jangling coins, are also great sellers at flea markets. To round out its line, Wholesale Fashion has a miscellaneous section with novelties and seasonal and holiday items.
Creative displays sell
Wholesale Fashion’s products are great additions to vendors’ product offerings. “Our products typically offer vendors 400 percent or more mark up, and are top sellers, especially when they display the merchandise in creative ways. All our products are individually wrapped and have hangtags so they can be displayed on pegboards. For the bracelets, vendors often take a cylinder and wrap velvet around it to draw attention to them.”
Wholesale prices are on the website, and the minimum order is one dozen, which is often priced at less than $8 per dozen. Orders under $200 have a flat shipping rate of $10, and shipping is free on orders of $200 or more. All orders over $500 receive an automatic $50 discount. Vendors can get a coupon code for a discount by visiting the company’s Facebook page. “The discount this month is 10 percent off their entire order,” Kim notes. New arrivals are also highlighted on the firm’s Facebook page.
