Zurko’s Promotions 40th Annual All-Night Flea Market will be held Saturday August 20th from 3pm – 3am at the Du Page County Fairgrounds in Wheaton, Illinois. According to Robert Zurko of Zurko Promotions, “Our annual market is a flea on steroids. It really is a pop culture event.” The market attracts between 12,000 – 15,000 visitors every year from all across the Midwest.
In addition to hundreds of antique, collectible, furniture, vintage, closeout, porcelain, fishing, art, sport, craft and other vendors, the All-Night Flea Market will feature gaming tournaments, live music, and meet-and-greets with local and national celebrities. Notable appearances include Susan Olsen, aka Cindy Brady from The Brady Bunch; Mike Lookinland, aka Bobby Brady; and Naomi Grossman, aka Pepper from American Horror Story. “It’s really a family event,” says Zurko. “People tailgate in the parking lot, kids come dressed up, there’s really something for everyone.”
The event will be held “rain or moonshine” as there is a mixture of buildings, tents, sheds, and open-air areas. Zurko is still accepting applications for flea vendors. “Our market is expandable, so we can always accommodate more.”
“Our event is legendary,” Zurko continues. “We have cars backed up for a mile and a half waiting to get in. It still amazes me every time.” Admission is $7. Children fourteen and under are free.
